SOGE is the mobile banking application of Société Générale Maroc, a subsidiary of the global banking group Société Générale, operating in Morocco since 1913. As a major player in the financial sector, the app plays a key role in the brand’s digital transformation and customer engagement.
To mark the anniversary of the SOGE mobile app, the client requested a short, visually appealing animation to celebrate the occasion in a modern and creative way. The animation was to be used across social media and internal platforms.
Objective
To create a festive, fully CGI animation that:
Celebrates the app’s birthday with a sleek and brand-friendly tone
Reflects the innovation and accessibility of SOGE’s digital services
Delivers a short, eye-catching piece suitable for digital communication
My Role
While working at Addictive Live Marketing Agency, I was in charge of:
3D modeling and CGI animation
Motion design and lighting
Overall creative execution from storyboard interpretation to final render
Approach & Execution
The concept revolved around a 3D birthday cake symbolizing the celebration, paired with:
A burning candle as the central element
Fireworks and particle effects to elevate the festive atmosphere
A clean environment that aligns with SOGE’s branding and modern look.
The video was produced entirely in Cinema 4D, with a focus on realism and motion harmony.
Outcome
The final animation was shared across the client’s digital channels and received positive feedback for its polished visuals and joyful tone. It reinforced the brand’s modern and customer-focused identity in a light, celebratory way.
